Today, we’re exploring Jerome, Arizona. An hour's drive away, we drive up the mountain, which offers some amazing views back toward Sedona. There are some people still living near the town but for the most part, the area is deserted.

The guy who owned the mine back in its heyday had a mansion built with killer views, and that’s now the museum for the history of the area. We bring a lunch and take advantage of the picnic area out front with the views.

Then we head back toward Sedona and take some scenic roads just driving to see what we can find. We go out to dinner and walk some of the shops again. Hunter holds my hand the entire time, and it just feels right.

Going to bed and falling asleep in his arms is the perfect end to the day.
